History

Celebrating 30 years of providing technology and outstanding services to our customers

Swanson Engineering Associates Corporation was formed in 1974 for engineering consulting by the original founder of ANSYS, Dr. John Swanson. The company expanded its operations to include the distribution and support of the ANSYS finite element software with the formation of Mallett Software Technology by Dr. Robert Mallett in 1984. The name was later changed to Mallett Technology, Inc as experience and expertise developed and services were expanded to provide more comprehensive support to our client companies.

In the early 1990's CAD software, services and hardware became a part of the business to support the growing needs of our clients that looked to Mallett Technology, Inc as a full service provider for their CAE requirements. The company continued to grow and gain recognition as a leader in our industry.

In 2003, Dr. Robert Mallett retired from Mallett Technology, Inc as a part of a management buyout. Dr. Mallett continues on the board of directors and provides valuable guidance to the corporation. Mallett Technology, Inc continues to operate under the original mission of providing expert professional services and we continue to look for ways to create value through our long term partnerships with both our customers and vendors.
